How do I change the URL name of my MyCanvas site?

The URL name of a MyCanvas site can be changed in the "Site Settings" tab under the "Advanced" option.

The URL name, or site title, is the text that appears in the browser's title bar and in search engine results.

Administrators can also change the site's URL by clicking on the "Domain" tab and selecting a custom domain name from the available options.

Changing the site's URL through the MyCanvas API requires technical expertise and may not be suitable for non-technical users.

Alternatively, administrators can contact the MyCanvas support team to request a URL change.

The support team will review the request and confirm the new URL once it has been updated.

MyCanvas sites can be published on a free mycanvasite domain or on a custom domain.

Free MyCanvas users can publish up to five websites, while Pro users can publish unlimited websites.

Canva Pro users can connect up to five existing domains to Canva.

Canva for Education users can have unlimited websites on the free domain and connect up to one existing domain.

When changing the URL name of a MyCanvas site, all published designs will be transferred to the updated domain.

The website may go offline for a few minutes during the domain name change.

To redirect a domain to another website, users can add a URL redirect in the domain settings.

Subpaths, or parts of the URL following the domain name, can be added to the redirect from field.

Adding a navigation menu to a MyCanvas site can be done by selecting "With navigation" in the preview or publish dropdown.

Page titles should be added to the design before selecting "With navigation" to include the navigation bar.

The name of a free Canva domain can be changed in the domain settings under "Your account."

To edit the domain name, click on "Edit" next to the domain name and save the changes.

All published designs will be transferred to the updated domain after changing the name.

The website may go offline for a few minutes during the domain name change.
